Reddit: the most subscriptions, the most work

Reddit has been the most effective free channel for years and that has not changed. The reason is simple: people go there looking for specific content and subscribe to topic subreddits themselves, so you reach someone who is already looking for what you make.

The catch is that Reddit is also the most labour-intensive channel. Every subreddit has its own rules, some require verification, some block links in the description, and moderators remove posts without warning. An account that posts the same thing everywhere gets banned within a week. Realistically you need a list of twenty to thirty subreddits matched to your niche, a posting schedule, and enough discipline not to send the same image to the same place twice.

X (formerly Twitter): the best effort-to-result ratio

X is the only large platform that openly allows adult content, and that changes everything. You do not have to censor yourself, you do not lose the account over a photo, and the link in your bio works without workarounds.

Organic reach is lower than on Reddit, but the work is lighter: you post more often and more briefly, and the algorithm rewards consistency. Replies under posts from bigger accounts in the same niche work well — it is the cheapest way to get your first few hundred followers.

TikTok: the biggest reach, the shortest account life

TikTok can give tens of thousands of views to a video that took ten minutes to record. It can also delete the account without warning and without any way to appeal.

Creators who use TikTok sensibly treat it as a funnel, not as a home: the content is mild, there is no OnlyFans link in the bio, only a link to an intermediate page or to Instagram. You assume the account will disappear one day, and you build so that losing it does not take your audience with it.

Instagram: good for keeping people, weak for getting them

Instagram is the most restrictive of the four. A shadowban for the word “OnlyFans” alone in the bio is standard, and reach for new accounts in this niche is low. As a channel for finding new fans it usually does not pay off.

That order is not accidental. You start with the channel that brings subscriptions fastest, and you add the next one only once the first runs without your daily attention.
